BNZ-BusinessNZ PSI is a monthly survey of the services sector providing
an early indicator of activity levels. A PSI reading above 50 points indicates
services activity is expanding; below 50 indicates it is contracting.
The main PMI and sub-index results are seasonally adjusted.
A higher than expected reading should be taken as positive/bullish for the NZD , while a lower than expected reading should be taken as negative/bearish for the NZD.

Monetary aggregates, known also as "money supply", is the quantity of currency available within the economy to purchase goods and services. Depending on the degree of liquidity chosen to define an asset as money, various monetary aggregates are distinguished: M0, M1, M2, M3, M4, etc. Not all of them are used by every country. Outstanding Loan Growth measures the change in the total value of outstanding bank loans issued to consumers and businesses. Borrowing and spending are closely correlated with consumer confidence.

The Michigan sentiment index includes two major components, a "current conditions" component and an "expectations" component. The current conditions component index is based on the answers to two standard questions and the expectations component index is based on three standard questions. All five questions have equal weight in determining the overall index. A higher than expected number should be taken as positive to the USD, while a lower than expected number as negative. Capacity Utilization reflects overall growth and demand in the economy.
